83-year-old dies in train crash in Goshen

GOSHEN, Ind. - An 83-year-old woman is dead after her vehicle was hit by a train near Main Street Monday afternoon, according to the Goshen Police Department. 

The woman was identified as Judith Gill of Elkhart. 

Police were called to the Main Street railroad crossing, north of Pike Street, just after 2:30 p.m. for the incident. 

There, they found Gill, the only person in the vehicle, deceased. 

The incident is still under investigation.
