ISP seizes drugs, gun, ammo after serving search warrant

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Indiana State Police arrested four people after serving a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Prast Boulevard in South Bend.

ISP's Criminal Interdiction Team served the warrant Monday afternoon around 5:20 p.m. as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Officers located two one pot meth labs, suspected cocaine, suspected methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, as well as a rifle with homemade suppressors.

Two juveniles at the home were released to adults at different locations, reports said.

  • Joshua Wyatt, 38, was arrested on outstanding warrants through Marshall County for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, operating while intoxicated-endangerment, and operating while intoxicated-controlled substance.
  • Jason Wyatt, 45, was arrested on outstanding warrants through Michigan for maintaining a methamphetamine lab, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and maintaining a drug house.
  • Chelsea Anderson, 33, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for battery.
  • Jessica Hopper, 23, was arrested on two outstanding warrants for criminal conversion.

Additional charges are possible pending review of this case.
