Locomotive fans gather for tiny details and big smiles at the Goshen Train Show
GOSHEN, Ind. -- Michael's Trains held their second Bag Factory Train Show.
The show brought about 300 visitors with about 60 vendors at nearly 100 tables.
Jeff Coffel, Pullman Train Club Founder, said the club focuses on the details, and they even ran Thomas the Tank Engine trains for the kids who stopped at their layout.
"It makes you feel really good when you hear people talking about it, the details, how much work you put into it and then to see the kids' faces light up. That's the best part," said Coffel.
Vendors sold model trains in a range of scales, including older pieces no longer made.
Admission was $5, and kids 12 and under got in free with a paying adult
The show was moved to Sunday from the usual Saturday because of scheduling conflicts, but Michael's Trains plans to hold the show twice a year.
"During 2020, during the pandemic, my wife told me, why don't you do this again? So, I started with a little circle, locomotive, and it has grown," said Michael Wenzelmaier, Michael's Trains, Bag Factory Train Show organizer.
