Sister of Bryan Ramirez Gomez will accept diploma on his behalf

ELKHART, Ind. -- According to a family member, the sister of Bryan Ramirez Gomez, will be accepting his Elkhart High School diploma on his behalf tomorrow during EHS commencement.

Gomez was a senior at EHS when he was recently shot and killed by police. The graduation ceremony will take place tomorrow, Thursday June 11 at 7 p.m. at Notre Dame Purcell Pavillion in South Bend. 

ABC57 is awaiting confirmation from school officials.
