South Bend hosting Lead Safety Resource Week Oct. 26-30

City of South Bend SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- In recognition of National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week, South Bend's Lead Protection Program will host an outreach event Oct. 26-30, in the City Hall Lobby.
The week-long event will provide lead education, testing information, and even help with application requirements for the Lead Protection Program.
Attendees can also learn about Notre Dame's Lead Innovation Team and initiatives from the St. Joseph County Health Department.
The free event is open to the public.
