Elkhart dedicates first Accessible Pedestrian Signal to pre-teen
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A peace walk was held in South Bend Saturday, called Hope for Huey.
The main message of the walk was to promote the community and to say no to violence.
It was held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. between LaSalle Academy and Huey Street.
It was sponsored by The Kingdom Christian Center, Christ Temple Apostolic Church, and Group Violence Intervention.
The event was organized by Canneth Lee who is the 1st District City Councilman.
