A quick burst of snow Friday, after 9:00 PM as temperatures fall below freezing after midnight. The snow may have trouble sticking to the warm ground. There is a concern for black ice as the snow melts and flash freezes. So be cautious with this light amount of snow through Saturday morning.
Saturday will be a cold and sunny day; temperatures rebound Sunday and rise into the 60s by Monday. We are still in the running for warmest February and Winter on record with highs nearing 70 degrees next Tuesday. The warm-up could even fuel thunderstorms. Temperatures fall Wednesday and Thursday, so leap day could come into the equation for the seasonal rankings.
Tonight: Snow showers. Low 18.
Saturday: Sunny. High 35.
Sunday: Partly cloudy. High 54.
Monday: Mostly sunny. High 60.
