After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
CASS COUNTY, Mich.—A fatal farm accident occurred on Saturday night in Silver Creek Township according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to the farm accident which happened on Dixon Street at approximately 5:44 p.m.
Roger Molter,69, of Benton Harbor was reportedly performing work on the farm when the incident took place.

He was allegedly parking a cherry picker in the barn for the coming winter and while he was repositioning the equipment he ended up pinning himself between the wall and the cherry picker.
Molter was discovered by a family member who contacted emergency services.
Rescue workers pronounced him dead at the scene.
Assisting in the rescue efforts were Pride Care of Dowagiac, Silver Creek Township Police Department and Sister Lakes Fire Department.
