Much like yesterday, many of us will be seeing the sun for a good portion of the day. As we move into the late afternoon and evening hours, that’s when we could pick up a few clouds, which will set the stage for scattered showers and storms overnight. A select few of these storms could be on the strong side. The main threats tonight are heavy rain and lightning, but small hail and gusty winds can't be ruled out. Small rain chances remain for the morning and afternoon hours on Monday as well.
The holiday continues to look dry for most of the day, but clouds and rain chances increase as we head towards dinner time. Storms really move into the area for Wednesday and most of Thursday before exiting early Thursday night. Lastly, highs this week remain locked in the low to mid 80s throughout Michiana.
Sunday: Sunny skies with clouds building in later. Late evening scattered showers and storms possible. High of 84.
Tonight: Scattered showers and storms continue with mostly cloudy skies. A few could be strong to severe. Low of 64.
Monday: Leftover AM rain, then partly sunny skies and a slight chance of an afternoon shower or storm. Highs near 83.
Tuesday: Partly sunny skies. Scattered showers and storms possible in the late afternoon. High near 84.
