A Field Day tradition

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A yearly tradition at one Mishawaka elementary school recently got a facelift.

For years, Field Day was considered a track and field event on the last day of school. Now it's a year end celebration.

Students enjoyed a Bouncy House, had a free pinic lunch, and even played tug of war.

Twin Branch Principal Rhonda Myers said the kids enjoy the tradition.

"It's the one thing we will always keep on our calendars and the kids enjoy it," Myers said.
