A heat wave to start June

Baking heat through the weekend. High will peak near 90 every day with week, rising into the mid-90s starting Friday. This heat will quickly worsen already dry conditions, as signs of drought are already present. Rain is unlikely, possibly for another ten days. There's a slim chance of rain with a cold front next Monday.
