A high fly ball for a good cause

BUCHANAN, Mich.  -- A long high fly ball for a good cause.

A softball benefit was held for the True family in Buchanan Saturday.

The family lost two of their three little girls in a deadly car accident nearly a month ago.

And now their friends are coming together to try and raise some money for them.

This softball benefit drew nearly 200 people together.

It was put on by one of the family's best friends!

"It's hits us all pretty hard when someone you know, someone you play ball with, to have something like this happen to them, you know, it's the best way we could find to help out," said Mike Kromer, a friend of the family.

Altogether the towns of Niles and Buchanan have raised nearly $20,000 for the family during this tough time.
