PLYMOUTH, Ind.- A sink hole on a Plymouth bridge is getting lots of attention on Facebook tonight.
The sinkhole opened up right in the middle of Centennial Park, which will host The Blueberry Festival in less than a month.
This sink hole has developed on the southwest side of the bridge over the Yellow River in Centennial Park.
According to the street superintendent he was out here Tuesday morning to see how big the damage is. He says at this point in time, it is the county’s issue to deal with and right now that’s exactly what they’re doing: working on a solution.
There seemed to have been concrete placed over this side of the road and with time this steep bank became visible.
ABC57 News learned this will not affect the festival planning this coming Labor Day weekend.
