ARLINGTON, TX- The Notre Dame Irish failed to secure a win in the Cotton Bowl Classic against the Clemson Tigers. The Irish’s final record for the 2018 season is 12-1.
"We gave up 4 big plays, if we were better tactically and technically today, we coached better and we'd make the plays that we've been making all year, we would have had a pretty darn good football game going into the 4th quarter. Didn't happen that way, so we're on the brink, we're close, and we're gonna work our tails off to get back here" Brian Kelly, Notre Dame Head Coach.
“…too many mistakes, when you're on this type of stage and you turn the ball over have all those penalties, those are drive killers specifically for our offense. we obviously didn't play our best game and it wasn't our most disciplined." Sam Mustipher, Offensive Lineman
“This is the standard. we're gonna be here next year, i'm gonna be back so i'm excited to, i'm already thinking about what we've gotta do to get back. i'm gonna be an older guy, i'm gonna be a senior, so i'm gonna take it upon myself to be a leader, to be an example to the other guys.that's the standard i'm gonna set as a leader of the team, and we'll be back” Alohi Gilman, Safety
