ABC News reporting Joint Base Andrews incident just a drill

A Joint Base Andrews spokesman says there were reports of a real shooter at the Malcolm Grow Medical Facility during an active shooter drill Thursday morning. However, sources tell ABC News there was a misinterpretation of a social media posting about the drill.

ABC News is reporting there were no 9-1-1 calls to the Prince Georges County Police dispatch, which would have happened if someone dialed 9-1-1 on a cell phone.

Prince Georges County Police said they received an email about a drill that was scheduled for today.

The 12 mile no fly zone around Joint Base Andrews has been lifted.

Vice President Biden's travel was delayed due to the situation.
