Hot and humid conditions are in place today across Michiana with heat indices reaching up into the mid-90's. Most should stay dry throughout the morning, but there is a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms to pop-up after 8:00 AM. More significant chances for scattered rain and thunderstorms will come closer to noon and should last through most of the day with peak rain chances occurring during the afternoon. Scattered thunderstorms are likely to last on-and-off through Monday night. These storms will help to cut our heat and humidity down with highs starting Tuesday becoming much more seasonable in the upper 70's and lower 80's. Milder temperatures and a quieter weather pattern can be expected to last into next weekend.
Today: Hot and humid. Scattered thunderstorms. High 87.
Tonight: Scattered thunderstorms. Low 74.
Monday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 86.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy morning. Partly cloudy afternoon. High 78.
