ABC57 in Miami: Irish players family dinner
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Here come the Irish, to dinner that is. On Thursday, 165 members of the Notre Dame football family sat down to enjoy an array of meats and Brazilian dishes in Miami Beach. But it was not just staff and players around the table.
Timothy Councell, the Rabasa family and the Nichols family all joined the Fighting irish for their night of chow at Fogo De Chao.
The Nichols made their way down to Miami from Kentucky on Wednesday and could not be more proud or thrilled to see their son Tate, number 64, play for the national title.
They met up with the Rabasa's who are from Miami and eager to cheer on their son Anthony in their home town.
And big brother Timothy flew all the way in from Germany to watch his little brother Ben Councell play for his dreams.
With the families fueling the players with support and confidence, the Irish are fueling up on meat and potatoes—hopefully, perfect for success.
