ABC57 News turns 1 year-old

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --  Time flies when you're having fun!

It's hard to believe that one year ago today (on April 4, 2011) was the very first ABC57 News broadcast!

In a year's time we have been live at two NCAA championships, the Super Bowl, and the Indy 500.

We have also brought live backpack technology to Michiana!

That means our reporters are able to go live virtually anywhere!

We've gone live in a plane, train, helicopter, carnival ride, boat, horse, snow innertube, and even an elevator ride to the top of the Chase Tower!

And we're just getting started!

So, thank you for letting us come into your homes every night.

We look forward to many more years of covering news in a different way here in Michiana.
