SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- ABC57 anchor Dante Stanton dives into the history of a nearly 100-year-old baseball bat, which may have been used by Babe Ruth during a pair of exhibition games played in South Bend in 1926.
Legend has it that the bat was given to a 6-year-old fan in the stands at one of those exhibition games after Ruth hit a game-winning home run.
Now, a sports memorabilia collector from Goshen may have found that very same bat.
Local experts also weigh-in on whether or not the bat was the one used by Babe himself.
