Actor and Wal-Mart play blame game

The blame game continues between Hollywood comedian, Tracy Morgan, and retail giant Wal-Mart.

On Tuesday morning, Wal-Mart responded to Morgan's lawsuit, filed last July, saying the actor is at least partly to blame for the injuries he sustained in a crash over the summer.

A preliminary report by the National Transportation Safety Board found the semi-truck that crashed into Morgan's limo bus was speeding 20 miles an hour over the posted speed limit.

The investigation also found the driver of the Wal-Mart semi, Kevin Roper, had been awake for more than 24 hours at the time of the crash.

It also found Morgan wasn't wearing a seat belt.

On Tuesday night, Morgan released his response, to the retail giant's response, in a statement saying, "I can't believe Wal-Mart is blaming me for an accident they caused."

Morgan was hospitalized with critical injuries, and his friend James Macnair was killed.

Roper has pleaded not guilty to charges of vehicular homicide and manslaughter.
