Cloudy, breezy Wednesday morning; improvements this afternoon
BRISTOL, Ind. -- ADEC kicked off its third annual Cupcake Wars competition on Wednesday.
ADEC is a non-profit that helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community.
Five of ADEC's day programs participated in the competition that put their baking and decoration skills to the test.
A few of the cupcake themes included Alice in Wonderland, the movie Space Jam, and even tropical beach.
"When you aren't around individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on a daily basis like we get the pleasure of being, you aren't aware all the time of all the skills and talents have," said Jessica Kosher, Chief Development Officer at ADEC.
Six lucky celebrity judges were there to join in the fun, including ABC57's Chief Meteorologist, Tom Coomes.
