Airlines bring in the baggage fees

If you are thinking that traveling is a pain, you are not alone. And it is not expected to get any easier or cheaper.

Airline bag fees are up and they keep skyrocketing.

From January through June, U.S. airlines collected nearly $2 billion in fees and that is just for the bags.

That is the largest amount ever brought in during a six month period.

But fighting the trend is Jet Blue, which allows fliers one free bag. And Southwest which allows customers two free checked bags.
