Alexis Willocks found guilty in murder of Anika Henderson

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A jury found 21-year-old Alexis Willocks guilty in the murder of 17-year-old Anika Henderson in November 2021, according to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office.

The jury also found Willocks guilty of criminal recklessness.

Willocks will be sentenced on May 16.

The sentencing range for murder is 45 to 65 years.

The sentencing range for criminal recklessness, a level 5 felony, is one to six years.

On November 8, 2021, Henderson was shot while sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle near Randolph Park in South Bend, police said.

UPDATE: In May 2023, Willocks was sentenced to 50 years in prison with five years suspended. She was also given 200 days of jail credit.
