Amazon follows Disney + with ads on Amazon Video

If your hoping tune into Belly's love triangle in "The Summer I Turned Pretty" season 3, you may be impacted by the limited advertisements coming in 2024.

Amazon announced the addition of limited ads coming in 2024.

For Amazon Prime Members, costing $14.99 a month, Prime Video will contain ads to "continue investing in compelling content and increasing in the investment over a long period of time."

They aim to have meaningful fewer ads than linear TV and other streaming services.

Ads will roll out in the U.S., U.K., Germany and Canada early in 2024, followed by France, Italy, Spain, Mexico and Australia later in the year.

Members can purchase an ad-free option for an additional $2.99 per month--not including live event content such as sports.
