SAINT JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.-- Cat's out of the bag Michiana, morning anchor, Summer Horan, is engaged!
She happily said yes to the love of her life, Elkhart native, Brian Harter on Christmas Eve.
12/24/22 was marked with a special trip to the grotto at Notre Dame after Christmas Eve mass at St. Joe Parish in South Bend.
The couple lit a candle together and then Brian got down on one knee.
Brian and Summer met almost 2 years ago thanks to former ABC57 photographer, Kyle Smith.
And now, after cherishing the special secret the fiancé's had to share the news with their growing Michiana viewing family!
The newly engaged couple first shared the news with family Christmas Eve, here you can see Summer's Uncle Bob Heiden, better known as her "fairy-Godfather."
And after letting the moment sink in, the couple thought of capturing the next reveal Christmas Day, on camera!

Brian and Summer are rapidly trying to plan out all the wedding details for the celebration in just 6 months, September 2023!
