Andrews University Assistant Dean dies in car accident

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich -- An Assistant Dean at Andrew's University was killed Friday afternoon in a car accident.
Esperanza Alvarez-Muniz was driving with her mother to pick grapes in the country-side when she failed to yield at an intersection at Dean's Hill Road and M-140 in Berrien Center. He car was hit by another vehicle driving south.
Her mother and the other driver were both uninjured.
Alvarez-Muniz was an Assistant Dean of Women for Lamson Hall.
