MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- As soon as the door opened, the crowds rushed in. This year's "Old 2 Gold" sale drew larger crowds than last year.
Some folks started waiting in line as early as nine on Friday.
This year proved to be much better than last year in terms of total items and donations recieved.
Organizers estimate $60,000 was collected for charity.
All in all, 80,000 tons of clothes, electronics and other items were for sale.
