Local Humane Society shred event happening June 1

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Humane Society of St. Joseph County will hold its Annual Shred Day Fundraiser from 9 a.m. to noon on June 1.

"We invite community members to bring their documents for secure shredding and support a great cause," organizers said. "A suggested donation of $20 per five medium boxes will help fund our shelter’s ongoing efforts to provide care and support for those in need."

The shred will be held at the shelter, located at 2506 Grape Road in Mishawaka.

"This event not only offers a safe way to dispose of sensitive documents but also provides an opportunity to contribute to the welfare of our community," organizers said. "All proceeds will directly benefit our shelter and the important work we do. Join us for a morning of community spirit and support. Together, we can make a difference."
