Apartment explosion sends teens to hospital

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- An apartment explosion near Detroit sent a teen to the hospital with severe burns.

The blast happened Sunday in Harrison Township.

A 19-year-old man is being treated for severe burns. Two others received minor injuries.

Police evacuated the building for safety reasons.

The Red Cross is helping people displaced by the fire.

Right now investigators still do not know what cause the explosion but they say they found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the wreckage.
