Are children safe in Michiana schools?

Recent surveys have indicated that a growing concern for parents is the safety of their children when the kids are in school. School shootings continue to happen across the country and many parents say they wonder if the next one will be at the school their children attend. A survey commissioned by the national Parent Teacher Association (PTA) found that concern about school violence was the fastest growing issue among parents. The survey found that 53 percent of parents interviewed were concerned about the safety of their children when attending school.
