Celebrate Comic Book Day with free comics, special events at participating locations

It’s Comic Book Day, comic book stores and specialty shops are offering special events -- and of course free comic books.
Free Comic Book Day is held annually on the first Saturday in May. It began in 2002 as part of a promotional effort by the North American comic book industry.

- Knappy’s Komics and Kollectibles located at 1022 W. Jefferson Blvd. Suit 100 in Mishawaka, Indiana.
- BuyMeToys located at 4614 Grape Rd. Suite C in Mishawaka, Indiana
- Secret Door Games LLC located at 215 S. Main St. in Elkhart, Indiana
- Khahan’s Americana located at 522 S. Main St. in Elkhart, Indiana
- Hero comics at 732 S. 11th Street Suite 220 in Niles, Michigan
- Super Geeks Gaming at 322 N. Detroit St. in Warsaw, Indiana
