Army soldier comes home just in time for Memorial Day

DETROIT, Mich. – A Michigan soldier is back home just in time for Memorial Day.
Joseph Thrower flew in to Detroit this weekend where his parents and 10 siblings gave him a hero's welcome.
Thrower is back from Afghanistan after a tour of duty with the Army. He was there for more than a year. His family said they couldn't be more proud especially since two of his brothers also served in the military.
"One comes back from Iraq, the other one goes to Afghanistan, so it's like, pretty rough," said Joseph’s father Rodney Thrower.
