Arrest made in Cass County drug search

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – One person was arrested during a search warrant that found the alleged selling and use of methamphetamine, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported.

On Thursday, detectives with the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team served a search warrant in the 69000 block of Gordon Road in Mason Township on suspicion that the selling and use of illegal drugs was taking place, according to reports.

Detectives detained four people at the residence and when they searched the residence, detectives found a large amount of methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and evidence of methamphetamine sales, reports said.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on the charge of possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation warrant.

Detectives are submitting charges on other occupants of the residence, reports said.
