Arrest made in stabbing on Woldhaven Street

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Police arrested a suspect in the stabbing that happened on Woldhaven Street Wednesday afternoon.

Trevonn Austin was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery with a deadly weapon.

Police were called to the area around 1:30 p.m. to investigate reports of a stabbing.

When police arrived, they located a person with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
