Arrests made, drugs seized in months-long investigation called ‘Operation Oktober Fest’

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind.—Twenty-six arrests were made in a months-long investigation called “Operation Oktober Fest,” according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.

Multiple county law enforcement agencies partnered to serve warrants last week.

During the operation, police seized:

  • Methamphetamine: 177.92 grams, with an estimated street value of $7,500
  • Cocaine: 3.11 grams, with an estimated street value of $265
  • Marijuana: 489.81 grams, with an estimated street value of $6500
  • Heroin: 1.95 grams, with an estimated street value of $400
  • Fentanyl: 2.26 grams, with an estimated street value of $850
  • Firearms: 1
  • Cash: $5,958
  • Vehicles: 8

Twenty-six suspects were arrested during the operation, according to police.

  • Chadd Shumaker of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of visiting a common nuisance-controlled substance.
  • Austin King, of Warsaw, was arrested on September 23 on suspicion of controlled substance- dealing cocaine or a narcotic drug and possession of paraphernalia.
  • Anthony Pollard Jr., of Pierceton, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of theft.
  • Christian Johnson, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 9 on suspicion of manufacturing/ dealing methamphetamine.
  • Alfred McDonald, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of a probation violation and manufacturing/ dealing methamphetamine.
  • Dennis Meade, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine.
  • Elgin Smiley, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 9 on suspicion of manufacturing/ dealing methamphetamine.
  • George Prater, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 7 on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and driving while suspended.
  • James Meyer, of Milford, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of a probation violation.
  • Jamie Miller, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of possession of paraphernalia, visiting a common nuisance, and possession of methamphetamine.
  • Jared Borkholder, of Shipshewana, was arrested on October 10 on suspicion of manufacturing/ dealing methamphetamine, dealing cocaine or a narcotic drug, possession of paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a firearm by a dangerous person, and resisting law enforcement.
  • Jason Boxell, of Fort Wayne, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
  • Justin Frazier, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine.
  • Katreena Torres, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of a probation violation.
  • Keegan Deaner, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, visiting a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia.
  • Kevin Gibson, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 6 on suspicion of manufacturing counterfeit substances and possession of counterfeit substances.
  • Kyle Ousley, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, manufacturing/ dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and driving while suspended.
  • Laini Roberts, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of a probation violation.
  • Marcus LeMaster, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of manufacturing/ dealing methamphetamine.
  • Nathan Yoder, of Pierceton, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of dealing cocaine or a narcotic drug, dealing in a controlled substance, and failure to appear.
  • Ricky Daniels, of Warsaw, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of manufacturing/ dealing methamphetamine.
  • Ronnie Moore, of Winona Lake, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of dealing cocaine or narcotic drug.
  • Todd Metz, of Leesburg, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana/ hash oil/ hashish.
  • Shanelle Byrer, of Pierceton, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of manufacturing/ dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
  • Valente Ceballos Jr. of Pierceton, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of manufacturing/ dealing methamphetamine.
  • Wesley McConnehey, of Fort Wayne, was arrested on October 8 on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine.
