ELKHART, Ind. -- The City of Elkhart Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with the Downtown Elkhart Merchants Alliance to welcome back Art Walk Wednesdays, presented by Ruthmere. 

The walk will take place on the last Wednesday of each month from June through September. 

Art Walk Wednesday is free for all ages and includes artists, musicians, and local downtown Elkhart merchants. 

“We’re proud to support local artists and musicians while giving families and visitors a fun, engaging way to experience our city’s vibrant downtown,” said Liz Stoutenour, Event Coordinator at Elkhart Parks & Recreation.

The series focuses on creativity, connection and community. 

"By making art accessible to everyone, we're building connections, supporting local artists and strengthening the vibrant heart of our city," said Mayor Rod Roberson, City of Elkhart.

Vendor and performer applications are open for any artist and musicians interested in participating. For details to apply, visit the Art Walk website. 

All events will take place in Downtown Elkhart from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
