Autopsies for three deaths at Praxis obtained

St. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - Autopsy results for three patients who died at Praxis of South Bend by Landmark Recovery within one week of each in early July were obtained today.

The facility is now closed.

The autopsy results were obtained from the St. Joseph County Coroner's Office.

In the first case, 19-year-old Seth Jones' cause of death is listed as combined toxic effects of an opioid substance and an anticonvulsant medication.

46-year-old William Breda's death was caused by chronic alcohol abuse disorder, according to the St. Joseph County coroner's office.

The third patient, 38-year-old William Harris, died by suicide.

These autopsies show not all patient deaths were by overdose.

A spokesperson for Landmark Recovery sent ABC57 News a statement saying, in part, that autopsy results prove illegal substances did not play a role in any of the three deaths.
