Autopsy complete on man found in St. Joseph River

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Coroner's office says the autopsy is complete on Donald Lewis, whose body was found in the St. Joseph River Sunday morning.

Lewis went into the water Saturday morning downstream of the East Race in South Bend.

The preliminary results show Lewis died as a result of drowning and his death was ruled accidental.

A final autopsy report is pending toxicology results.
