MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- B100 joined forces with Nelson's Chicken on Friday to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
B100 host Jim Mackey will be running the St. Jude’s Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in Nashville and asked the community for help with fundraising.
The radio station started serving chicken dinners on Friday morning, with all proceeds going towards the hospital.
The station has a team called "Mackey's Miracle Miles" that will run the marathon.
“Just going to Nashville, just the whole experience and just the energy around the whole event and like I said thousands and thousands of people coming together for one cause, it’s just super exciting,” Mackey said.
This is Mackey’s third year running the marathon.
The marathon will take place on Saturday, April 27.
