South Bend, IN – It’s back to school time and some lucky students got the supplies they needed Saturday.
Kids lined up at John Adams High School to get free backpacks.
The backpacks were filled up full with school supplies.
The program made possible by South Bend Community Schools offered the backpacks for free.
The kids were also very excited! “Because we got a new book bag and we got lot of stuff in our full bookbag like notebooks and pencils,” Zack Lee said after getting his new bag.
The program is to help those who can’t afford the supplies.
