NILES, Mich. – Teacher Appreciation Week continues this week!
It’s a week set aside to show teachers nationwide the value they hold in their districts.
Being in the midst of a national teacher shortage, it’s important to show our educators that they’re appreciated now more than ever.
The staff and kids at Ballard Elementary School in Niles are celebrating their superhero teachers with a week of super hero themed activities and gifts.
While many think a teacher’s day starts and ends when kids enter or leave the classroom, they spend countless extra hours and dollars to make school more memorable for the kids.
In elementary school, that’s especially true, as teachers have the job of truly shaping a child and getting them excited about learning for years to come.
