County fair season arrives in Michiana
Lifelong Michiana residents are familiar with the scarcity of sunshine during the winter and all the challenges that come with it, like mood swings, overeating and general fatigue. In fact, there’s a legitimate medical diagnosis behind the experience, called “Seasonal Affective Disorder.”
The disorder can be caused by the body’s lack of Vitamin D production, which we get from sunlight exposure. Given that the grey "permacloud" sitting over Michiana likely won't be lifting anytime soon, many might be wondering how to ease these symptoms.
