Beetles and Bugs invade Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Ever wonder about which bugs to avoid and which ones are okay?
People in Mishawaka got to find out with a Bugs and Beetles Seminar, Saturday.
The Wild Birds Unlimited Center on Grape Road offered a program where people got to learn about what makes an insect an insect!
The event allowed everyone to get up close and personal with some of the bugs and even make themselves a souvenir!
Even little kids were welcome to learn and play with the bugs!
"It's fun. Working with kids is fun and teaching them things and watching them learn things is great. And watching them make connections with nature is even better," said Leslie Whitkowski.
