Benefit to help injured BMX pro Brett Banasiewicz

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Family, friends and Brett Banasiewicz's fans are coming together for a benefit.
The BMX pro suffered a bad crash last month and has been in the hospital ever since.
He recently went to a rehab facility in Atlanta and medical bills are mounting.
On Oct. 14 in Fort Wayne, there will be a Benefit BMX Jam to help his family with bills.
All proceeds will benefit the Athlete Recovery Fund which has helped Brett get to Atlanta safely for his rehab.
Brett turned 18 on Wednesday.
