BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - Benton Harbor High School basketball star, Grant Gondrezick II, will continue his playing career in college with a full ride scholarship, with him stating, "I'm taking my talents to Elon University".
Grant Gondrezick II signed his national letter of intent Wednesday night to play college basketball at Elon University in North Carolina.
As a senior, he scored 25 points per game and scored more than 1,000 points during his high school career.
His family has a long basketball history in Benton Harbor with his mother, Lisa Harvey Gondrezick, having been the longtime Benton Harbor girls' coach and winning a national championship at Louisiana Tech.
Grant's late father played for the Suns and Clippers in the NBA.
Grant's sister, Kyser, was also the fourth pick by the Indiana Fever in the WNBA draft two years ago.
