Local Catholic academy looking to move into Portage Manor property
BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- A diaper giveaway was held this afternoon in Benton Harbor.
Local charity United Through Motherhood collected over 9,000 disposable diapers from different charitable groups including the Temple B’Nai Shalom, the YMCA, and the St. Joseph Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs.
The diapers will be available at the Berrien County Health Department.
United Through Motherhood is currently working to establish a diaper bank in Benton Harbor to provide them to struggling mothers all over the county.
