BENTON HARBOR, Mich.- 17-year-old Senior at Benton Harbor High School, Shamiya Williams, is being honored with the 2023 Youth of the Year Award at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan.
In addition to playing multiple varsity sports, Williams has been a part of the Boys and Girls Club Benton Harbor Teen Center since 2019.
In April, Williams will represent the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan at the statewide competition in Lansing.
