Benton Harbor Water Response Resource Fair scheduled for May 12

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The City of Benton Harbor is hosting a Water Response Resource and Opportunity Fair on May 12 to provide residents with resources on how to reduce or eliminate lead in their homes.
The fair will run from 4 to 6 p.m. inside the Joel E. Smilow Teen Center at the Boys & Girls Club of Benton Harbor.
The fair will provide the following resources to residents:
- Home water testing kits
- Soil testing
- Free bottled water
- Filters and filter installation education
- Free lead inspection sign-up
- Job opportunities
- Lead service line replacement information
