Berrien County Health Department offering free Narcan kits to community

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – The Berrien County Health Department is recognizing International Overdose Awareness Day by providing community members with free naloxone (Narcan) nasal spray kits through August 31.

People ages 18 and older can visit the following Walgreens to pick up a free kit anonymously and without a prescription, insurance, or identification:

These kits will include two doses of naloxone, a mouth shield, gloves, written instructions, and additional community resources.

The Health Department has partnered with the Voice. Change. Hope. Alliance to provide the kits.
