Berrien County Health Department offering free Narcan training August 30-31

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. - The Berrien County Health Department is offering two drive-thru Narcan training events on August 30 and 31 in recognition of National Overdose Awareness Day and Month.
Pre-registration is required for the free event, which takes 15 minutes. Participants must be 18 years or older to be trained.
Sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. on both days:
Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 2149 E. Napier Ave., Benton Harbor
Wednesday, Aug. 31, National Overdose Awareness Day at 1205 N. Front St., Niles
The first 50 participants each day will get a free rescue kit containing Narcan.
